Web backup-archive GUI requires Java-Swing capable browser (at JRE 1.3.1 level), such as:

AS/400 Version 3 API
The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for AS/400 Version 3.1 API is a Version 3 client application program interface (API) for the AS/400 platform. This API supports the Backup Services API specifications developed by the X/Open International Standards committee. These specifications include source procedure calls, structures and return codes. They answer the requirement to standardize an API between applications needing backup services and Storage Management vendors.
