Simple Set-Up and Maintenance
Our e-mail archiving solution integrates directly with your Exchange and Active Directory servers. No changes are made to the Exchange mail system. After the initial set-up which establishes policies for archiving, the e-mails get archived automatically. Manual movement of e-mails on the part of the administrator are not required. No maintenance of the system is necessary.

Higher Productivity and Efficiency
EEAS delivers efficient automated capture of all your internal and external communications. Your mail server documents are archived and retrieved within seconds and still immediately available after several years. Search times are shortened so operations become more efficient. Our advanced search technology makes it easy to access the data you need, when you need it.
|
Lower Operating Costs
Our monthly fee structure doesn’t require any major capital costs upfront, and its monthly billing structure allows for predictable costs. Space saved by offloading aged items cuts maintenance, archive administration and storage costs. With Essential, you pay for the storage you’re using and increase only as your requirements increase.

User-friendly
Seamless integration with existing desktop applications means your users can use the archive system right away with little or no training. Our software is user friendly. Individuals can access their own archived messages through simple or complex searches. Administrators and supervisors can access multiple mailboxes based on groups in order to monitor and review messages. Moreover, the back-ends of the supported archive systems allow the seamless transition from current storage media to the more advanced media of the future.

Government Compliance
EEAS helps you achieve regulatory compliance with codes by various regulatory bodies such as SEC, SOX, GLBA, NASD and the IDA (The Investment Dealers Association of Canada). In fact, most companies have their own policies regarding the archiving of all data, documents and correspondence relating to the company for a certain time period, usually around 7 years. As the list of these regulatory bodies grows, it becomes necessary to anticipate regulatory compliance and be prepared with a robust e-mail archiving solution such as EEAS. Where there is regulatory compliance needed, you have it immediately. Where it is not needed, but likely to be needed, you are prepared ahead of time. E-mail archiving regulations are on the increase, so be prepared!

Enforce Company E-mail Archiving Policies
EEAS allows you to specify company e-mail archiving policies such as “all e-mails older than 6 months must be archived” or “all e-mails with attachments of 500 KB or more must be archived”, etc. EEAS makes the enforcement of these policies very easy by setting them up, as per your instructions, when you first subscribe to our service. This way, e-mails fitting the criteria are automatically archived.

Legal requests
E-mail archiving also helps you meet legal discovery requests. We give you everything you need to feel confident when faced with an e-discovery request by allowing automated capture of all internal and external communications. When the Records Enabler extensions that come with EEAS are used correctly, the records system can be used to meet various government regulatory requirements for records by converting e-mails to regular, legally acceptable documents. To ensure data meets evidentiary standards, we also guarantee that records cannot be deleted or altered once they have been archived. In addition, access to the data can be controlled. Usually only the people who archived the content are allowed to view or retrieve it. The authenticity of all archived data is achieved by storing multiple copies of messages and indexes, and by digitally fingerprinting all messages for authenticity and maintaining a full audit trail of system and user activities. With Essential, you finally have the tools to deal with e-discovery requests when they happen – and to protect your company before they happen.

No more PST files
EEAS eliminates the need to archive e-mails as .pst files on individual hard drives. These files can be very large and difficult to backup and search, and many users do not know how to handle them properly. Instead, EEAS stores e-mails off-site in an easily searchable database.

Security of our servers
Data is stored in one of the most technologically advanced co-locations in North America. The facility is protected with video surveillance cameras, sophisticated ID verification, and bullet-resistant walls, glass and security station. Totally secure and accessible 24/7, nothing can get to your data except you!
